Labor Day Weekend Family Vacation Camp @ Camp Royaneh
Family Vacation Camp at Camp Royaneh offers numerous fun and exciting activities for people of all ages. Archery and BB gun are great fun for everyone, and the rifle and shotgun ranges offer a rousing challenge for older campers. You can enjoy the miles and miles of trails while riding one of our Western saddle horses. Don’t forget to stop by the Craft Area where you can make something that will always remind you of the good times you had at Family Vacation Camp. Swimming is an easy way to cool off or do exercise laps in our Olympic size swimming pool!
The Thunderbird Trading Post will offer a variety of ice cream, candy and other snack items as well as Camp Royaneh merchandise and other camping supplies.
Like most national, state, or private campgrounds, you will be sleeping in tents. You have the option to use camp tents or you can bring your own. ALL sites are assigned when you arrive at camp. Large groups of 50 or more wishing to camp together can be assigned a site in advance otherwise all accommodations are first come, first served upon arrival at camp. Hot showers and restrooms are nearby each of the campsites.
A great choice of two food plans is available. The first is bringing your own food to camp; perishables may be stored in the kitchen walk-in refrigerators. All other food MUST be stored in your vehicles at night. The second choice is prepared meals in the camp dining hall where you will eat like the Scouts do during Summer camp, only better! Varied and nutritious meals are available for a very reasonable fee, beginning with Saturday breakfast and ending with Sunday dinner. Monday Continental Breakfast is available for an additional fee for everyone in camp. Sunday evening there is a pleasant ice cream social open to all - a tradition of many years at Family Camp.
