CAMP AT CAPACITY, PLEASE CONSIDER THE WONDERFUL REDWOODS AT CAMP ROYANEH FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND FAMILY VACATION CAMP!
Family Vacation Camp at Rancho Los Mochos for Labor Day Weekend is August 30-September 2, 2013.
Family Vacation Camp is an exciting opportunity for your family to enjoy the rugged outdoors, and activities of Rancho Los Mochos in the Livermore hills. Special activities will be held to keep your family having lots of fun! Our fabulous swimming pool provides a great place to lie in the sun or swim on a warm afternoon. Always popular are the archery range, the rifle range and the shotgun range. Camp provides the equipment and instruction. We have bows just right for the small ones! You can ride a horse though the majestic redwoods or just enjoy nature on a hike. The craft area provides an exciting time creating something you can bring home with you. On the weekend the camp director will have a special activity planned which will be posted on the schedule board at camp.
The trading post will offer a variety of ice cream, candy and other snack items as well as Rancho Los Mochos merchandise.
Like most national, state, or private campgrounds, you will be sleeping in tents. At Rancho Los Mochos you need to bring your own tent. ALL sites are assigned when you arrive at camp. All sites are first come, first served upon arrival at camp. Hot showers and restrooms are nearby each of the campsites.
A great choice of two food plans is available. The first is bringing your own food to camp. Perishables may be stored in the camp refrigerators. All other food MUST be stored in your vehicles at night. The second choice is prepared meals in the camp dining hall. Dining hall meals are limited due to space. Eat like the Scouts do during summer camp. Varied and nutritious meals are available for a very reasonable fee. Meals begin with Saturday breakfast and end with Sunday dinner. Breakfast Monday is available for an additional fee for those on the meal plan and for those who are cooking their own food.
