So come join us for this exciting new event Cub Scout STEM Days starting in January in partnership with Engineering for Kids! We will be running six Cub Scout STEM Days for grades 1st through 5th both Cub Scouts and non-registered youth. Each one of the Cub Scout STEM Days will be divided into a morning and an afternoon session. You will have the opportunity to attend either session to potentially earn the entire Cub Scout STEM NOVA Award for Science (Science Everywhere), Technology (Tech Talk), or Engineering (Swing!) depending on the day the youth attends.
Come discover the magic of SCIENCE! Watch as the secrets of magic unfold before your eyes! Read about amazing liquid concoctions and later visit, first hand, and Engineering for Kids "Slime Lab" where you get to engineer your own slime! Get the chance of a lifetime and sit down with a real life Aerospace Engineer, while creating and launching your own rockets; and discovering the secrets of how and why planes and rockets fly! Let the San Francisco Bay Area Council with Engineering for Kids guide you toward achieving your BSA STEM NOVA Science Award while having a blast!
