The purpose of Scoutmaster Position-Specific training is to provide an active, fun, and positive learning experience for new and experienced Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Chair, and Committee Members to learn and apply proven techniques for running an effective Boy Scout troop. You will learn to meet the aims of Scouting by applying the eight methods of Boy Scouting program during the four main sessions of the course.

You must be a registered BSA adult leader and participate in uniform for the training. You must have completed and be current in your Youth Protection Training.
After completing your Scoutmaster Specific training, you must complete the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course for completion of your basic training for a Boy Scout Leader.
You will need your BSA ID number when you check in for the course.
