Cub Scout STEM Days - Tech Talk

This event is open to all Boys and Girls from ages 6-10 (grades 1st through 5th).

STEM:  Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

What is it:  If you are looking for a quality STEM related experience for your youth this is the place for you!  So come join us for this exciting new event Cub Scout STEM Days starting in January in partnership with Engineering for Kids!  We will be running six Cub Scout STEM Days for grades 1st through 5th both Cub Scouts and non-registered youth.  Each one of the Cub Scout STEM Days will be divided into a morning and an afternoon session.  You will have the opportunity to attend either session to potentially earn the entire Cub Scout STEM NOVA Award for Science (Science Everywhere), Technology (Tech Talk), or Engineering (Swing!) depending on the day the youth attends.

Our world today revolves around technology, it is all around us and sometimes we don’t even realize it’s there!  But what is technology?  Come join the San Francisco Bay Area Council in partnership with Engineering for Kids as we explore what technology is, and how it impacts our everyday lives!  Marvel as we visit a computer lab and get an extensive view of how computers work!  Later we will make a trip our very own Roller Coaster Design Room to design, construct and test your own roller coasters!  Let us guide you to achieve your Cub Scout STEM NOVA Technology award while having a blast!  This event is open to all youth ages 6-10.  We hope that you come join us at this unique event that lets your sons, daughter, and even their friends participate.  Even though non-Cub Scouts cannot earn the STEM NOVA award they will have a great time doing all of the activities and will walk away from the event with a sense of accomplishment!

Food is not provided, please eat before you arrive.
